RIO DE JANEIRO CARNIVAL PLANNING COMMITTEE
Independent Crisis Committee
The Carnival in Rio de Janeiro is a festival held every year in Brazil and famous internationally.. Carnival is easily one of the most notable and recognizable events or traditions in South America, with roughly 2 million people attending the festival annually. However, with such a big event comes a lot of room for error. Every year a planning committee is assembled to make administrative decisions such as hiring vendors, securing investment, and marketing the festival to the global community. Simultaneously, the committee will be tasked with ensuring the safety and security of carnival goers and performers alike. In this committee, delegates will act as members of this planning committee – each aiming to get their own agendas across in the final product. Will Carnival be the world’s biggest festival yet again? Or will it fail miserably. Time will tell!
